(Born in San Lorenzo del Escorial, Spain, 1981) holds a master’s degree in Architecture from the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Sant Cugat (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, UPC) and a master’s degree in Technical Architecture from the Escola Politècnica Superior d’Edificació de Barcelona (UPC). He also pursued studies in History at the University of Barcelona.

He began his professional career in Barcelona, collaborating with renowned architects such as Carles Fochs and Lluís Nadal. He later opened his first architecture studio in Istanbul. Following a professional assignment in Zanzibar in 2015, he decided to make the island his permanent home and subsequently founded BAO Construction Ltd.

(Born in Zanzibar, Tanzania, 1996) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi (ODTÜ) in Ankara, Turkey, one of the region’s most prestigious universities. Her academic training provided her with a strong foundation in sustainable design and contextual architecture.

She began her professional career in Zanzibar and joined the team at BAO Construction Ltd in 2021. Over the past years, she has contributed to a variety of projects, supporting the blend of modern functionality with the cultural richness of Swahili architecture. Her work reflects the company’s commitment to thoughtful, place-sensitive design rooted in both global experience and local heritage.

(Born in Istanbul, Türkiye, 1990) graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Dicle University. He began his professional career in Istanbul before moving to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he participated in major infrastructure projects, gaining extensive site and project management experience.

Since relocating to Zanzibar in 2023, he continues to advance his architectural career at BAO Construction Ltd (in 2025), bringing international expertise and hands-on experience to the company.

(Born in Iringa, Tanzania, 1999) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Taylor’s University in Malaysia, with a focus on sustainable design and contextual responsiveness within Southeast Asian cultural and environmental frameworks.

He began his professional career in Zanzibar at BAO Construction Ltd in 2025, contributing to diverse projects across the island and mainland. His work emphasizes practical, locally grounded architecture and tropical design strategies, while he continues to refine his approach through hands-on project experience.
